Bundled Up!

I have finally found a reason to be glad for all the snow we have had this year! i heart faces is all "bundled up" this week!! This is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter Kayla. She looks beautiful even when she is freezing!! :)

Jumping for Joy!!

This week over at i heart faces everyone is Jumping like Jumping Beans!
In my photo my girls were the ones jumping for joy. They love for me to take
their picture while they are jumping, so I had several albums to go through before
I found this one! I hope you love it.

This week's theme for i heart faces is "hands".  It didn't specify whether or not the hands had to be real, so I chose this photo that I took several years ago. It was taken at a cemetery and the statue is of Jesus praying in the garden. It was a cloudy day and the black and white of this photo really set the mood. I actually got lots of great shots that day.

i heart faces loves KISSES!!! This week's theme is, of course kisses, in honor of Valentines Day. I immediately thought of this couple when I started thinking of a photo for this week. This was the VERY first wedding I ever had the honor of shooting and this couple was wonderful!! They were so in love and it really came through in their photos. It was so much fun taking their pictures!!

This week on i heart faces it is all about the texture of it all. Originally in the photo or placed there during editing, different textures can really bring a photo to life. I am, once again, using an adorable photo of Baby Olivia. I took these just last week for her 6 month pics. We had a blast and got some really beautiful shots of her. Enjoy!!

This week on i heart faces it is all about FAMILY!!! Sadly, this has caused me to realize that I don't have nearly enough "family" shots in my collection. The kicker to this weeks theme was there had to be at least one adult in the shot. I have hundreds of pictures of kids, but only a few of the kids and their parents. Thankfully, I remembered the picture that I have included. It is a photo of my brother-in-law and his 6 children!!! This photo was taken at a going away party for his middle son (the one standing on everyone else) before he was deployed over-seas. I love this photo so much, because it is so much like all of them. They are all a bunch of goof-balls, and I can't wait until we are able to get them all together again! We love you Andrew, and we miss you!!! Hurry home soon!!!

I love this blog so much! I always am impressed by the variety of photos that are submitted for the contest each week, and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
This week's theme is "Best Face Photo" and it had to be a very recent photo. That was somewhat of a challenge for me because I am just now catching my breath from the holidays! Thankfully, I was able to get some good shots of this little darlin' at one of our MANY Christmas get-togethers! I haven't done any editing work to to the photo yet, I am sure it will be much better once I do as it was a cloudy day and the lighting wasn't so great.
